Simplify: One Step at a Time


I'm on a Quest to Simplify, and I'm taking it one small step at a time. That's all you can ever really do: one foot in front of the other. I thought I'd share these steps as I go through them.


Semi-urban Mom | Simplify (step 1)Make a list of the five most important things in your life -- actually write them down. This way, you can focus your time and energy, and make decisions about things based on whether they are enriching these five areas, or not. If not: let them go, or say no, and move on.

Clear the clutter from your mind so you're able to start fresh and think clearly about the rest of your life. Try meditation -- it's not just for kooks!



Semi-urban Mom | Simplify (step 3)
It's amazing what a difference sleep makes. People always talk about getting more sleep but very few of us are actually getting enough. If you're stressed out, lacking energy, losing your cool, eating junk food mindlessly - you're probably not getting enough sleep.


Oh and let's not forget: get RID OF STUFF!!
